Pool Services in Cathedral City & the Coachella Valley

Two services, both done by the owner. Regular pool cleaning to keep your water right week to week, and filter cleaning to keep the whole system breathing in a climate that fills filters with dust.

Pool Cleaning & Maintenance

This is the backbone of a healthy pool. On a regular schedule we skim the surface, brush the walls and steps, vacuum the floor, empty the baskets, and test and balance the water so it stays clear and comfortable to swim in. We also keep an eye on your pump, filter and skimmer while we are there, because catching a failing seal or a clogged basket early is a great deal cheaper than replacing equipment later.

It suits homeowners who would rather spend the weekend in the pool than working on it, and it is close to essential for vacation rentals and second homes where the water has to look right whether or not anyone is in town.

Pool Filter Cleaning

Your filter is the part of the system that quietly does the most work, and out here it takes the worst of it. Wind carries fine desert dust and grit straight into the water, and it all ends up in the filter. As it loads up, flow drops, the pump works harder, and your chemicals stop circulating the way they should — which is usually the real reason a pool looks dull no matter how much chlorine goes in.

We disassemble the filter, clean the cartridges or grids properly, inspect them for wear or tears, reassemble, and check the pressure so you know where the clean baseline actually sits. Right now it is 5% off.

Why it is different here

Desert pools need a different rhythm

A pool in a mild, damp climate can coast for a couple of weeks. A pool in the Coachella Valley cannot.

Summer surface temperatures push evaporation hard, and as water level drops, everything dissolved in it concentrates — so your chemistry drifts even when nothing else changes. Wind pulls fine dust and grit off the desert and drops it into the water, where it settles into the plaster and loads the filter. Long, intense sun burns off chlorine faster than most people expect.

None of that is a problem if someone is on it consistently. All of it becomes a problem — cloudy water, algae, strained equipment — when visits get skipped. That is the whole argument for a regular schedule rather than calling someone once the water has already turned.
